Preparing kids’ snacks is probably one of my favourite reasons to get to the kitchen. Especially for school snacks, I try to choose something healthy enough, colourful enough and tasty, according to their preferences. Sometimes, I have experimented to put something different in their snack boxes, in case they get hungry and try something new, but my attempts weren’t successful. As a result, I prefer safer options.
Also, apart from some occasions, such as school excursions, I usually prefer homemade staff, trying to teach kids that good food is a way of taking care of yourself and staying healthier.
